Tricia Stockton
(CPDT-KA, KPA-CTP)
Owner and head trainer.
Tricia Stockton is a graduate of Karen Pryor Academy’s Professional Dog Training program (KPA-CTP) and a Certified Professional Dog Trainer - Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA) through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers. Committed to providing the most effective, convenient solutions to her clients’ dog training needs, Tricia avidly pursues ongoing continuing education and professional development by attending seminars and keeping current on industry literature.
Tricia had the honour of working at Calgary Humane Society as an Animal Behaviour Counsellor. There, she worked with hundreds of shelter dogs with varying behaviour needs. She also instructed group puppy and adult dog training classes for the public through the shelter.
When not helping clients enjoy easier lives with their canine companions, Tricia enjoys time with her family and beloved rescue dog, Baloo.

Philosophy.
We believe that dogs should be treated as a member of the family. Our goal is to educate people on how dogs learn and communicate, so they can create a stronger trust-based relationship with their dog.
Using marker-based training that is rooted in science, Canine Align will give you the tools and knowledge needed to train your dog while creating a harmonious relationship.
Credentials.
Credentials and experience matter to us. The dog training industry is unregulated and anyone can call themselves a dog trainer. We have committed to the highest level of education in dog training and are constantly continuing our education by staying up to date on training science and industry practices.
